200 balloons
The design is a giant tube. One side has a knot and the other is open ended, like a sock. Depending on the size of drop and the height of the ceiling there are 2 methods.
You stuff the sock with balloons, you tether the toe end to the ceiling, and connect the other end using a release knot, or releasable anchor point, and at the right time, you tug on the open end, the toe stays on the ceiling and the open end opens, releasing the balloons. End result is an empty sock hanging up by the toe.
For lower ceilings, you stuff the net with the required amount of balloons just like stuffing a sausage, starting at the toe end. When all the balloons are in the net, you tie off the open end, creating a sealed tube of balloons. You then do exactly what you would do on the other net I believe you are referring to, you create an open flap by cutting the net in a straight line end to end, (creating an envelope) and then use fishing line, monofilament, Dacron, etc to weave in and out of the open net to keep the balloons on place. Then you hang the net up from the two ends, and at the appropriate moment, you pull the threaded line, this opens the entire net along the cut you’ve made, and the balloons fall.
