CIGARETTE THRU COIN - Norwegian 5-krone

Here's a coin trick that always looks amazing, and your spectators will talk about it long after you've gone. You may have seen it on TV and wondered how it was done. Now you also have the chance to learn it.

You borrow a cigarette and a Norwegian 5-crown. Put one end of the cigarette against the small hole in the middle of the coin and slowly push the cigarette straight through. You stop for a moment while the cigarette is halfway through the coin, before pushing it all the way out on the other side.

The audience will not believe their own eyes and, of course, will immediately want to examine both objects. But you can calmly let them look. They will never figure out the secret.
