Scortch & Whiskey is created by Tom Elderfield, Hanson Chien and Calvin Liew. It is described as an ingenious key gimmick that allows magicians to perform various effects with everyday keys, making it a practical tool for close-up magic.
In 2021, Tom Elderfield wanted to develop THE ULTIMATE KEY GIMMICK for his TV Special. It needed to be able to do transposition, color change, vanishing and much more, an everyday carry and it is fully examinable. After a year of intense engineering, it ended up with Scotch & Whisky - and THE RESULT WAS PHENOMENAL.

1. VANISHING KEY Magic that happens in the spectator's hands is the strongest. You simply hand the keys to the spectator’s hand and the gimmick does alle the work for you!
2. KEY TO ANYWHERE You can make the key appear in ANY PLACE YOU DESIRE, from a wallet to under a watch, beneath a tissue paper, or in your pocket. The possibilities are endless.
3. WHICH HANDS Picture this: one hand holds a GOLD key, the other a SILVER one, and it’s up to your spectators to guess which hand conceals each key. But here’s the twist – no matter their guesses, you are always in control of the outcome!
