DOMINOES

There is a really clever principle behind this mental effect, which can be performed as a demonstration of either mind reading or your ability to predict things.

You open a small metal suitcase filled with dominoes. As you turn your back, you ask a spectator to put the pieces together into a long chain. When the spectator is done, he has to focus on the two numbers at each end.  You can immediately read his thoughts and give the correct answer! Yes, in fact, you may have written it down before as a prediction.

The beauty of the "Domino Effect" is that it can be repeated over and over again and with a new result each time. Everything can be examined and your spectators will have no chance of figurering out your secret.
