We have been involved in a small production of this classic "Dove Pan". The shape resembles a serving dish, shiny chrome plated, large, spacious and works perfectly for production and transformation.
You take the lid off a polished serving dish and reveal it to be empty. A piece of paper is placed in the bottom, you set fire to the paper, the lid is put on, for the second after being taken off again - whereupon a white dove flies from the pan...!
A nice and surprising effect, which you will find in photos and illustrations with magicians throughout history. The technique is still effective and still seems just as effective. Not many of our customers produce white doves anymore, but you can just as well produce popcorn, candy, silk scarves, cakes, flowers, a gift card for the birthday- or something completely different.
"There is room at the bottom, where you can also place something to be transformed: ingredients for a cake, silks, rope, paper, or maybe a deck of cards.
The production compartment has a diameter of 22.5 cm and a height in the middle of about 7 cm. From the base to the knob at the top, the pan is 20 cm..
We are unlikely to produce more of this quality, so if you want this great prop on the show, now is the chance.
