THE FLYING CARPET

A practical and astonishing mini-illusion that will provide a lot of wow effect to your next children’s show.

You roll a podium out in front of the audience. On the podium, there’s a screen, two large wands and on those rest what you can present as, ‘’a flying carpet’’ (delivered by air from Aladdin Airlines)… You invite someone from your audience to come up stage and ask her to sit on the carpet like Aladdin would. You ask her to make herself as light as possible. (!) Then you first remove the screen, then - carefully - the two large wands. The result is that your assistant seemingly floats free in the air over the podium.

After some time floating in the air, the screen and two wands are placed back in their starting positions, and your assistant can go back to her seat
