More information

  • This summer, we had a delightful visit from Norwegian Andreas Wahl, who has a background in magic and entertainment but is now better known as a physicist, science communicator, and host on TV. We had a conversation about the spectrum between magic and physics, and it turned out that Andreas had developed something that fits perfectly into our product range. A small piece of electronic magic.

In the popular Norwegian Christmas TV series "Snøfall", Santa can blow light into glass balls, thus granting the wishes of children from all over the world. The question is, who will become his apprentice? Who else can blow light into the Christmas balls?

Andreas has turned this magical TV moment into reality with this Christmas Ball. The transparent glass ball is lit with Christmas lights when you blow on it. There is no remote control involved - it's the act of blowing that magically ignites it. The light automatically turns off after 10 seconds unless you blow at it three times - then it remains lit until you turn it off again (with another blow).

Pretty cool, right? For many of our performing customers, this magical Christmas ball can easily be incorporated into their acts and entertainment during the holiday season. Whether you're a magician, Santa Claus, or a hospital clown...

The Christmas ball will create magic, smiles, and holiday cheer no matter how it's used. Perhaps it should simply hang on the Christmas tree as the special decoration that can create a little magical moment.

The magical Christmas ball comes in a box complete with a USB-C charging cable, which you'll need to use to bring it to life when you receive it. With this cable, you can also recharge it if it gets so much use that it needs it. The ball automatically goes into sleep mode when packed away after Christmas.

Andreas Wahl's Christmas Ball is approximately 7.5 cm in diameter. It's made of glass and quite sturdy, but it should not be considered a toy for children.
