Tenyo's "Four Nightmare DX" is great and visual rope magic! The routine was released back in 2009, but it was only available in Japan. We now happen to have a few original pieces in stock at Pegani.
A long piece of rope and a short piece of rope are displayed to the audience. When stretched together, they somehow become the same length, like you know it from Professor’s Nightmare. But then it takes off with four more effects...
1. The magician ties the two ropes together. Then the knot is miraculously slide off of the rope and the magician is left with just one long piece of rope. 2. He then ties a knot in its center, but the knot seems to melt completely away! 3. He ties another large knot in the middle of the rope. With no false moves the loop is slid cleanly off the rope as well, leaving the magician with a piece of rope in one hand and an endless loop of rope in the other hand! 4. Finally the loop of rope and the long rope are tied together, but the knot dissolves, and magician is left with one single long rope.
The gimmicked rope is very well-made. Even up close, your audience will never find the secret. This effect works very well for both close-up, parlour and stage. The English instruction with clear illustrations, takes you step by step through the handling.
